What
How
• Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement between GSD and Mirabou
• 3-Year agreement commencing from July 2022
• A mechanism to collaborate and cooperate in investigating development of power
generation assets
• Planning and building renewable power generation technologies and storage systems
• Feasibility studies to examine other power generation technologies
• Feasibility studies to examine potential industries that could be located in the region
• Successfully progressing opportunities identified

Core Competencies
The Regional Electricity and Energy Supply Proposal (REESP)
Background

More variable, renewable energy assets like solar and wind assets are coming online, changing how Australia's electricity sector functions

But remote communities still rely on diesel generation for energy. They often experience insecure supply, as well as the rising costs associated with diesel and concerns about CO2 emissions.

Renewable energy assets could:
• Reduce energy costs and emissions
• Increase security, resistance and reliability of supply
Proposal

As the Gulf's energy partner, Miraou will lead a review into the regions's electricity and energy needs and supply options

Marabou will also conduct an in-depth feasibility study of Gregory's energy needs
